I have for sale a NOS (New Old Stock) Metz, Mecablitz 34 CS-2 Digital Flash kit. It features 3-automatic f/stops, full manual, built-in slave and a wide-angle diffuser and the flash stand (base kit) this may have been a store demo and is in Mint condition. It includes the flash, wide-angle diffuser, tele diffuser, flat bracket, flash stand and PC Cord. Included are two, new Cr2 batteries. The unit has been tested on all modes, and it is fully operational. I purchased this from a Metz dealer shortly before they closed their store.

This is a pretty powerful flash (but as small or smaller than a pack of cigarettes) and works great on rangefinder cameras such as Leica, Zeiss, Nikon or digital cameras where you don't trust full TTL and would prefer automatic flash control, full manual control or need a second flash to use as a slave. Best of all, it has a low flash trigger voltage, (4.7volt) so it is safe for digital cameras. It also is great for legacy film cameras, where you need a PC Cord to trigger the flash (cord is available, but not included in the base kit)

These flashes are made in Germany and made to last. They are way better, cheaper and more versatile than the Leica SF flashes. The TTL is less reliable than the Auto Sensor in this Metz. I have tested them both. They had a list price of $349.95.

Description:

With central hot shoe contact, sync cable connection and slave function, this small unit is suitable for use as a main flash for Non TTL cameras, and for wireless automatic 'servo flash' operation. It can also be used in conjunction with a Controller flash (through wireless TTL flash control) as a TTL slave flash. Due to its photo-sensor and a special time-lag function the 34 CS-2 digital is ideally suited for many digital cameras, even models without a flash connecting facility or featuring a monitor pre-flash.
