p.2 #2 · Does your M record accurate exposure info when using 6 bit coded lenses?
The 6-bit coding only makes sense to keep the attached lens information in the Exif file. If you either note separately which lens was used, or you don't care to keep this information, all the 6-bit coding is useless IMO. I actually fully turned off the lens recognition feature in my camera menu.
