Ironically, I went looking for the short version in a few other places where I keep various tools and, as luck would have it, I couldn't find one anywhere.
What I DID find was the need to go to the store and buy yet another one so I can lose it as well. It's just a vicious cycle I tell ya.

In anticipation of tackling this ides, every time I went to WallyWorld over the last several months I looked for these bundles of red shop rags. They were a strong red color and came in a bundle of 5-6 for very little cost. I thought maybe the closer to spring we got perhaps they would miraculously appear on the shelves. Besides this project, I needed some more of them for the garage anyway so I had intended on buying multiple bundles. On one searching expedition I finally asked one of the ladies stocking the shelves where I might find them. She said "Oh...we don't carry those anymore". WHAT?? Alrighty then! Plan B. I ended up finding these drab red ones in a bundle of 5 at a major auto parts store for WAY more than WallyWorld used to sell them for...plus they were smaller. Sign of the times I guess.
