A few from the local park this winter.
1. The beavers have been very active, attacking 50-foot tall oak trees. Mostly they chew through about 2/3-3/4 of the diameter and wait for a storm to blow them over. Until the beavers moved in here 10-12 years ago, I had no idea they went for such big trees - I thought it was just softwood willows, aspens and such.

That is 1 fact I never knew about bears "pc". They actually chew through trees?
#2&3 are great! I heard the geese honking as they flew North yesterday! Hundreds of them!
That is a sign Spring will be upon us soon!
