My Daffys shot through the ground last Saturday, just in time for another layering of snow, Robert! Some of mine also have the "frilly petticoats". But I would estimate about a month before they are showing their petticoats.
This is sorta getting me in the mood to head to the woods for wildflowers, thanks!
