Selling an optically breathtaking Viltrox AF 85mm f/1.4 Pro lens for Nikon Z.
This lens renders beautifully on any Nikon Z camera (even full-frame) and performs close to a native lens in terms of sound and speed. Very quiet and fast autofocus. Natural, rich tonality. Very sharp, even wide open. Nikon currently doesn’t have its own native 85mm 1.4 Z mount lens, so this lens fills a void for those who don’t want to spend a fortune on the 1.2 and those who want more background blur than the 1.8.
Only reason for selling is because I do not use the lens. I have a 135mm f/1.8 that I use more frequently for more reach. Purchased this lens Like New/Open Box from B&H on Dec 29, 2025 and will provide original receipt printed in the box.
This lens handles very well. Akin to the LAB series, which I also own in 35mm and 135mm, this lens has a floating motor that will move around when not powered on. That is normal for this lens. I had a Sony lens when I shot E-mount that did the same.

I hardly ever rate anything 10/10 or 100% unless I have purchased it brand new and have not used it. Otherwise, most of the items I sell are rated in the 9-9.5 range here on FM. This one falls in the 9.5 range (95-98%). Buy with confidence, based on my reviews.
This lens sells for $600 brand new. There’s a similar one used on Adorama now for $529 plus tax. I am selling for a lot less than most used prices.
