I managed to get cleaner images today by raising my water level and shooting a bit more "through" the drops. Still can't get the collision shot I'm hoping for. I can't tell if I'm missing it or just not creating it. I've tried releasing the drops closer to the pan, further from the pan, just not working. I'm open to suggestions

Beautiful, Gary! What's cool about water drop shots is that each one is unique. I really love the colors you're getting. If I had to pick favorites, it would be #'s 4 & 6, but each is lovely on it's own -- nice work.
Actually, I'd bet several of these would look amazing as a B&W conversion.
