It’s increasingly rare to find this Tamron 35mm f/1.8 lens in like-new condition in the original Tamron box with original paperwork, caps, hood, especially since it was discontinued by Tamron some time ago.
VC (Optical Stabilization) works great and is particularly useful on bodies without IBIS such as GFX 50S, GFX 50R, Canon EOS R8, etc.
This is the sought-after Canon EF mount version, which can be adapted to various camera systems, including Fujifilm GFX medium format or Hasselblad medium format with fast and accurate auto focus. (Fringer adapter recommended).
I used this lens exclusively on Fujifilm GFX medium format system. This lens covers the Fujifilm/Hasselblad medium format image circle without vignetting: 35mm f/1.8 on medium format becomes 28mm f/1.4 equivalent.
This Tamron 35mm f/1.8 is the best copy I was able to find out of 3-4 copies for adapting on medium format.
I’d love to keep it, but I no longer shoot medium format.
