From today, same spot, different lenses for fun, 26 EVO and 50 AIR and a Samyang 75 just because I like it for some things and wanted to see. The light was changing fast, I think the best is the 26 just for the light. I remain amazed at the resolution these lightweight and relatively small gems can render even on the demanding A7R6. Truly bargains...
This is the Pigeon Point Lighthouse just North of Santa Cruz, CA on highway 1. It's currently being renovated.

What a sweet photo! Is it your kitty?
We lost our two boys (brothers) in the last couple years and I so miss having the life and joy of felines gracing our home.
Yes, thank you. His name is Po. He's very sweet, and a little fierce when our 80 pound dober-shepherd Olive (also very sweet and just wants to play) breaks into his personal space. ( :
How's the focusing of the 85/1.4 in backlit conditions?
I don't remember how it handles back light but I'm doing an outdoor shoot Sunday and will give it a test. The lens struggles a little in low light with AF but since I usually work in a studio I can turn on a light, use back button focus, turn the light off and I'm good.
