p.1 #1 · The Orion Nebula

My ZWO Seestar S30 Pro was delivered last night around 7 and to my surprise I opened it and found clear skies without a cloud in site. After ironing out my tablet/phone connection issue I captured Orion with 75, 20 sec. exposures (all I had time for before bed).

Yeh, I was introduced to the Seestar last fall by a friend who brought one along on a road trip to dark skies. What a little wonder!

vow. amazing image. I was in astronomy 60 years ago. I had a big telescope and was trying to shoot the sky with my very expensive scope and camera. Well for our standard nowaday, I didn/t get any decent image.

Winter has such clear skies with no ground to sky heat escaping to obstruct the camera, or telescope, lens.
