I recently "upgraded" from the XT2 to the XT5, and looking for a suitable L-bracket for my needs. Specifically, I need the bottom part of the bracket to extend all the way across the body AND have a spot for me to attach the PD Clutch attachment.
I purchased the RRS version and, while it does extend the whole length of the body, there's really not a suitable place for me to attach the PD Clutch on the bottom. I am looking at the Leofoto but it doesn't extend all the way so no way for me to attach a PD hook.
Anyone have ideas if such a bracket exists that fits the XT5 well? I don't need a grip since the Clutch would be enough, but can live with one if that's my only option.
Any thoughts about how else I can attach this Clutch would also be welcome. Thanks!
I have a Smallrig L-bracket for my X-T5 that is full length and includes a strap slot on the right side that should work for the PD Clutch. It does have a hand grip, though. It's not as heavy-duty as the RRS (which is my primary bracket now), but it's a decent and affordable option.
If you want to give it a try I'd sell you mine for $25 shipped since I'm not using it. Complete with box and accessories (soft shutter release button and tools). Just PM me.

Let me think about your Smallrig. Still trying to decide to keep the RRS or not. Maybe I can attach two PD straps to make the Clutch fit a bit better.
I have a Smallrig L bracket without the extended grip and it's great. I want to say it was never posted on their website, but was available on their eBay site and local shops.

Sure. If you want to stick with the RRS you could also try a QD D-Loop Strap Swivel connected to the QD port near the hand grip for attaching your PD anchor.
I use these to attach a PD anchor close to the mid-point of the bracket for my Sling strap, and they work well. Over-built and over-priced, of course, but that's RRS.
That RRS anchor looks nice but I would need to remove it every time I wanted to use the camera on a tripod, which is eh lol. How does the Smallrig compare to the RRS in terms of fit and how secure it is?

The fit is good, but the bracket is definitely lighter duty, particularly the L-portion that is attached with 2 screws near the base and not solid like the RRS. I shoot vertically with some heavy-ish lenses so I wanted something stiffer, hence spending $$$ on RRS.
But regarding the PD D-ring that quickly releases with a button push so I wouldn't think that would be too big an inconvenience since you won't be using the clutch when shooting on a tripod.
Actually, with my XT2, I'm able to leave the clutch on and still shoot on the tripod, either horizontally or vertically. The clutch was only on the grip side so doesn't get in the way at all when on the tripod.
The heaviest Fuji lens I own at the moment is the 55-200 and don't plan on anything heavier since the Fuji kit is mostly for travel.
Let me know if you'd still like $25 for that Smallrig and accessories. I'm down.
