I'm selling my Nikon 500mm f4 G after switching to an 800mm as my main wildlife lens. This lens has seen no use since it came back from Nikon where it was cleaned and calibrated. Plays well with Nikon teleconverters. Comes with an Arca Swiss compatible Wimberley Replacement foot. The original lens hood has been professionally shortened so the lens presents lens of a target for wind shake when shooting in windy conditions. The hood still offers more than ample flare protection. The rubber band on the end of the hood has been glued on so it won't slip off and get lost in the field. The glass is clean and scratch free, The diaphragm is oil free and snappy in response. Lens has no internal fungus. Includes original Nikon hard case and Nikon rear cap.
