p.1 #1 · Screw-in square (metal) lens hoods for Voigtländer

Ahoy,

for purely aesthetic reasons I'm totally into square lens hoods like Fuji does them.
To my surprise I actually found a model that fits both the Voigtländer 40/1.2 and 50/2.
However, I don't quite get how these are supposed to work. How is the correct orientation guaranteed? The listing claims filters can still be used but I don't see how that would work.
For reference:

There are other vendors, all selling the same model.

Does someone have experience with screw-in square lens hoods?
I know Haoge also offers some but their threaded hoods are way too shallow to be useful.

That listing shows an adapter ring, google the Haoge to understand how the 3 part system works with a filter, I'm sure it's identical.

Their hood screws into their adapter ring, which is how they typically ensure the alignment is correct.
