Anyone have experience for example with software such as Disk Drill, with recovering file accidentally deleted from an SD card. My iPad ate some of my files while I was downloading from the card
I have used such tools in the past, though it has been a while. I think, in fact, that Disk Drill was one that I used.
The apps I used successfully rescued almost all of the deleted files, and if you have not used the card for anything since you deleted it there is a good chance that you’ll be able to restore all of the files.
If I recall correctly, you dan download the app and run it for free to determine what, if any, files it can restore. If you decide you want to restore them you pay the fee to unlock the full capability of the app including the actual restoration.
Just deleting or formatting the card seems easy to recover, low level format you may not be able to. Ive had really good luck using photorec (CGSecurity) even recovered video, really good program. It may still go command prompt or DOS or whatever its called kinda retro cool imo
