This setup is definitely heavier than the Noctilux but it's not horribly bad. In fact, it feels pretty good.

I thought I would try a classic on the M11 , cant wait to see what I get Next up will be the legendary 105mm 2.5 AIS

I have one of those. Never even thought of using it on an M. I can hardly focus it wide open on a mirrorless camera, let alone an M. Plus, maybe it's me or my copy of that lens, but it's really soft wide open.

Yes, it's soft wide open and performs a lot better on film.

Didn't Nikon make a smaller LTM mount version of this lens? I thought they did and I think optically it was quite similar.
