If you knew how to read you'd see the last 2 paragraphs of his incredibly condescending post completely contradict using jpegs because it's faster

The only answer: So you can capture the most amount of image data to give you the most flexibility to shape the image out of the camera. That’s why. Thats it.. the lens does not matter because it’s raw vs compressed etc.
