Doing a little bit of a catch and release here. I bought this a few months back as my first jump into the big white camp. I have rented this model lens several times over the years and it was incredible to finally have my own copy. It shot great and it was everything I wanted. Then I saw goo deal on a 300 IS II. Now I have 2 300’s and sadly this one needs a new loving home so it isn’t playing second fiddle to a new younger model.
This lens shoots great and is in good used condition. As you can see it has some paint wear in the usual spots that wear happens when being used by working pros. No insane wear or damage to note. Glass is clean. Autofocus works great and is super accurate on my bodies. IS works well, and all features work correctly.
