This lens has been my pride and joy for several years. Only selling because I need to pay for some medical bills.
The lens was serviced and calibrated by Red Dot Repair around 2020 when I first received the lens. Even at f0.95 nailing focus is not difficult. The lens has a few minor scuffs on the paint but nothing major and no dents. The glass is clear of any fungus or haze, I cannot see any. Only a few dusts. The front element has a scratch in the center from the original owner, and a few hairline scratches on the rear element. But these do not affect images at all. At 0.95 images have a beautiful glow and dreamy background (hence the name). At f1.4 the glow cleans up quite a bit and sharpness improves dramatically. It pains me to sell such a lens that has given me so much joy and unique images, but it needs to be done.
Includes a Canon 72mm filter and a threaded hood with cap for extra protection. Also includes the rear M-mount cap.
On eBay, M-mount versions are much closer to $3k, so I am trying to price this one to sell. Asking $2650, which includes shipping and PP fee. And you also save the eBay taxes lol.
