X-Trans is fine by me. It is the huge 40 MP files I don't like.

My new system is 26 MP and my PC is working faster while my hard drve isn't filling up as quickly.

I became tired of worrying about the file sizes and bought a 4TB SSD just for photo files. By the time it fills up the drives should be even cheaper. I was also worried about my old 2021 MacBook Pro handling the load but fortunately it's up to the task of processing the 40mp processing.
