Knowing how skittish kestrels tend to be, it is amazing that you were able to get that close. All my kestrel attempts with a 500+1.4 are postage stamp sized, because I can't ever seem to get closer. Do you stalk them from a blind or is this walking around? Great work.

No blind, the kestrel hangs out at a local marsh. It's use to people walking by on a regular bases and there is an abundance of food in that area like voles, frogs and lizards.
