Has anyone experienced a battery getting stuck in their SL2 / SL2-S grip? It was ejecting fine before, but now when I press the eject button it slightly ejects but not far enough to pull it out. If you barely even press it, it locks back in. I've even tried wedging something in there to pry it out but to no avail. Next attempt will be something really sticky on the end of the battery to try to pull it out.

When you do get the battery out look and see if it has swollen at all. Some batteries as they age swell up or disfigure a bit and should be retired.
Would be surprised if it's swollen but who knows. It's not terribly old.
Update: was able to pry it out using a really thin shim to apply pressure to the top of the battery. Only had about 1mm to work with. Battery doesn't appear to be swollen at all, but also not really sure why it got stuck in the first place.
Don't know if this is your issue or not, but I have a few SL bodies and two of them over time had minor issues with the battery like that. What I believe is the cause is a little binding of the battery latching mechanism inside the body or grip. What I did in the two cases where this occurred was to thoroughly clean the grooves on the batteries (even if they don't look dirty. I then applied (using a q-tip) a VERY small amount of silicon lubricant to the complex grooves on the battery near the rubber seal (base of battery). Using a tiny amount won't collect dust or run and greatly reduces friction at the latch point. I never had a repeat issue in those cases. YMMV.
