@philip_pj Thank you for sharing about the Sony. I really like the colours I saw. If I were wanting a 35mm system today, I would be looking more into them. I honestly don't know why more manufacturers don't take a more neutral approach.
I do agree, our starting point will change how we edit. Which is why when editing, I think it is important to take breaks (ideally overnight, or longer) after the first major edit, and subsequent minor ones. Then with fresh eyes, reassess, edit as needed, and repeat. It can take many revisions. But I find my final results are always better this way.
