The house is over 200 years old and back then "root cellars" were the refrigerators back then. It is spooky walking the unlit tunnel to the basement of the main house.

Yes Douglas...flag stones...I would have taken a photo of the "hallway" but no lights and no flash...Very musty smelling and damp.
The inner door was replaced with a similar style door and weather sealed.
