I wish you guys could send us some of the white stuff to refresh our mountains. We are having a terrible ski season and it's my first with a season pass (super cheap when you turn 70). Watch out for the ice!
Round 2 ought to cover the green hillside, Dan'l. We have about 2.5 in. out of the "Mega Death Storm", not even worth firing up "the Yellow Monster"!

The "Polar Vortex" sweeps down out of Canada bringing numbing cold and then rain storms sweep South, East and North bringing the snow and ice. It has been a frigid winter so far. Fine by me. I love the cold. Snow I can do without despite its photographic beauty.

Woke up to about 6-8" on the ground Douglas. Yeah the hype on this storm was a bit overdone. The snow has turned to ice rain now. Temps only at 12F with wind chills at -2F...
My "red dragon" sits idly in my shed.
