Letting go of my Leica Summicron-M 35mm f/2 V1 “8-element”, one of the most legendary and collectible Leica lenses ever made. This is the true 8-element version, Made in Germany, famous for its unique classic Leica rendering, micro-contrast, and beautiful character.
Condition
Very good condition overall
Glass is clean and clear
No haze
No fungus
No separation
Smooth focus + aperture
Lens just had a CLA done 20 days ago at ShutterShop
So it’s ready to shoot with no worries. It comes with Front cap, Rear cap, Hood, Filter
Prefer FF or 3% added to G&S

Unfortunately Dao has not responded to any of my messages and I doubt he will, so I’ve come to my own conclusions. He most likely sent my camera and lens uninsured, and when FedEx lost the package, instead of returning my $4k to me, he decided ignoring me and committing embezzlement would be a better resolution. Please steer away from working with him.

Really sorry that this has happened to you, was it PP G&S?

I didn’t, only because we had worked together previously and I thought based on rapport I’d be safe. Huge mistake on my part. Thankfully I used a credit card and was able to dispute the charge. Lesson learned, always use PayPal G&S!!!
