Up for sale is a Nikon D3 body. I recently bought it from Service Photo in Baltimore, MD. I wanted to see if the colors were really that different from my Nikon D4. Turns out they're not (I don't see much difference anyway) and that's why I'm selling it.
The camera is fully functional, and for its age, it's in good cosmetic shape. There are some marks in the finish here and there, especially around the strap lugs, but really nothing serious. The LCD does have a haze to it (I actually think it's the plastic cover over the LCD), but it works fine and you can clearly see the menus and images with it (I only notice the haze when the LCD is off). Also, there is a small scratch (about 1mm long) on the plastic covering the LCD in the center. I never noticed it until I took pictures of the camera. It has no impact on using the LCD.
This is a Nikon USA version, although at this point I'm not sure that matters.
Shutter count is 41,121.
It comes with a Nikon MH-22 dual battery charger and two Nikon EN-EL4a batteries. The batteries both have a recharge performance of 4, which is the worst rating. In my experience they easily last for a few hours of shooting (300 - 400 shots). If you need more endurance, there are several companies still making replacement batteries (Wasabi Power, Watson, DSTE, Kastar, etc.).
Price is $350 net to me. I will cover shipping via USPS Priority Mail.
