p.1 #1 · Experience on ultra-thin sensor stack sensor on native Z lenses

Does an ultra-thin cover glass conversion of the sensor stack on a full frame Z camera to correct corner smearing for use of adapted MF Leica M lenses result in any corner smearing when going back to their native Z Nikkor lenses? Kolari says it's very likely to happen which makes sense. I just wanted to know if anyone has had any actual experience on using both types of lenses.

I don't have first-hand experience but can provide these links:

"On the whole I found that FE lenses were totally usable for me on the Kolari UT (the FE 35/1.4, 55/1.8, and 85/1.8 were the only native lenses I used outside of testing). The differences that showed up in infinity tests were much smaller shooting 3D subjects at closer distances. The increase in inward field curvature actually tended to improved corner bokeh a bit at large aperture while being negligible stopped down with lenses 35mm or longer."

Based on the articles, it does appear that a Kolari UT cover glass conversion will negatively affect corners of native Nikon Z lenses in exchange for improved corners on film era M lenses.
