Kodak was trying for "true colors" like their ads said. It's saturated, but the colors were balanced and harmonized, if you will. You really trusted it, all you needed to do is hit the exposure right. My mom shot a few rolls in her Rolleicord in the late '80s. Opening a developed package of 120 positives from Kodak was breathtaking. She shot the Rollei so long that she rarely used her light meter.
