Selling my Olympus 40-150 f2.8 Pro, as I've moved to Sony. Been hanging onto it for a while, then realized I hadn't sold it off yet.
Includes collar/foot, the Olympus decorative cover thing, lens hood, front/rear caps and box. Handful of wear points on the body, but glass is clean. Lens hood is fully functional.
Asking $750, shipping via USPS Priority Mail and PayPal fees included.
Hi, I’m interested, but a little nervous because it looks like there may be a slight scratch on the glass - but maybe it’s a reflection.
How have you found its reach for birding - have you tried with 1.4 tc?
And: I have a Sony A7RV I use for landscape and occasionally birds. I’ve found OM has better focus/tracking/fps, and long lenses are heavy. Why are you switching to Sony? (I’m considering waiting to see if rumored 100-400 G will appear with lower weight and better sharpness than current 100-400 GM)
That's a reflection. Another photo of the front element is attached here. I switched to Sony in 2021; this is my last m43 lens, I'm just slow to post & sell things. Worked great with the TC, and reach is about the same as an 80-300 full frame lens (or 110-420 with the 1.4x TC). I liked it for birds -- the f.28 aperture was nice for early mornings.
