Where is this located? I'm assuming SE Michigan from your Instagram page, but not familiar with this location.

Took this while on holiday, so it is actually in Tulsa, OK... river is the Arkansas one. They tore the old bridge out, built this new fancy one (the old one was a railroad bridge, with the rail tracks removed before it became pedestrian). The bridge connects to a new bazillion dollar park, similar to NTC Central Park (same designer I believe).
But part of the river they kind of made a dam, and pump the water to make some areas like rapids, so people can kayak and mini-surf it.
