Warren Street is the main shopping street in Hudson New York. The last time I visited this town was 7 years ago and I am sad to see now how some things have changed.
The street is busy with parked cars and people, it was challenging to capture some buildings with all the distractions.
I appreciate your disappointment with some changes, but the city appears very vibrant compared to the many other small towns hanging on by a thread across the country. And I would venture to say the "upstate" although I've not been there for many years.
I like this series. They deserve looking at on a larger screen, I’d like to see them as prints. They are filled with details to explore. Do you find when photographing scenes that are complex and lack a clear single focal point that compositions is harder? It’s something I struggle with.

Hudson, NY is attracting affluent buyers from NYC and other major metropolitan areas who are looking for a scenic and quiet retreat, especially since COVID and the rise of remote work. Due to the housing supply shortage and rising prices, many locals are being forced to leave the area. The town is gradually losing its authenticity and the charm it had just a few years ago.

Thank you for the kind comment, I really appreciate it. I like to challenge myself creating compositions, using a prime add another level of complexity. I think it gives me the opportunity to practice and develop my creativity.

Love getting out in town! The olde architecture is always worth shooting. Everything so sharp and crisp Marcelo!
Well done!

Thank you Dan, exploring Upstate New York is a nice experience while I capture some old architecture.

This post inspired me to get off my butt and head into the towns near me!
I have posted some of my trek to date. I will be headed out again this weekend.
Ghosts of the early "colonies", civil war still roam the streets in the olde "center of the "City" here.
These are , again, very fine compositions Marcelo! On a big monitor they really "pop"!
