went through a phase in my life when I felt a bit disconnected from photo processing. During early 2024, I visited Oregon and had the privilege of capturing some beautiful moments. But somehow, I kept postponing the processing—and eventually, those images slipped out of my mind altogether.
Recently, my wife nudged me to start processing photos from our New Zealand trip. While digging through my hard drive, I rediscovered those forgotten RAW files from Oregon. That rediscovery helped me shake off the blues, and I finally sat down to process the following images.
The kayak photograph is a composite of two different exposures. The first photo of Thor’s Well is a blend of four exposures, carefully combined to capture the setting sun, foreground, and midground. The remaining images are processed from single exposures.
All critiques and suggestions are more than welcome.
