So I bought this refurbished A9 III for Christmas through a Sony Authorized Retailer. It came and: 1.) it is missing the inner black plastic shroud inside the lens mount. 2.) There is a piece of dust inside of the viewfinder. Retailer is out of stock and offered a partial discount. I'll add some more pics later, but other than these two issues it's new condition, no blemishes. As far as I can tell, the shroud is purely cosmetic; doesn't affect any functionality.
Some details: It also came with a 90-day non-transferable warranty, though the kicker is I have to pay for shipping both ways AND insure it. I've thought about sending it in but it's a 4-6 week turnaround and I'm somewhat concerned about getting it back with other issues (precision camera).
Before I return it, thought I'd pass this deal along. $3650 no-fee ($3775 G&S) includes insured, signed shipping, genuine BC-QZ1 charger and FZ100 battery, and mount cap.
