p.1 #1 · Tuk Tuks in Luang Prabang

An older shot from a trip to Laos.
In a previous post there was a discussion about keeping the power lines as part of the images. I am all in favour and in particular for shots in cities like Luang Prabang where power lines are never removed but only replaced. One never knows what is being removed

Nice shot. Have you considered a version cropping out the left side (i.e. taking out the minivan, and having more like a 4:5 ratio)?

Frankly speaking, no. I like the view of the image down the street with the tents of the weekend market beyond the minivan.
Thank you for your comment and suggestion.

Thank you Dragonfly. How did your brother get the approvals for that type of wiring?

I like the composition as it is; showing the street scene. It can be shocking to see how they run their wiring.

Thank you jcw1982. How does one trouble shoot such a wiring nightmare?

He was a building inspector and most likely gave an associate a bribe

I wonder what happens to those wires when typhoons hit the area?

Laos is land locked with a fairly tall mountain range between Vietnam and Laos to the east and large expanses of land between Laos and Thailand to the west. No typhoons can ever form under those conditions.
