I found this intem in an Antique Market a photo friend(Nikon Joe) and i may purchase it tomorrow with the intent of passing it on to Nikon USA. I believe its quite rare an a antique for sure.

That appears to be an old Slit Lamp. It is used to evaluate the eyes and may have an tonometer to check intraocular pressures.
