1973 Leica M5 three-lug black chrome body in essentially unused condition with $495 DAG overhaul 7/23 with paperwork. This body has the later, improved shutter roller. I purchased this body from the estate of the original owner. It was essentially in unused condition in it's leather ever-ready case. The pressure plate shows no wear at all. I was told that he had an M4 that he used and this was a backup body that just never saw use. I sent it to DAG for a full overhaul, and it has been unused since. It has had the meter calibrated for silver cells, and the meter is accurate. The viewfinder is bright and clear. The only issue keeping me from describing it as "like new" is that the baseplate is slightly more rough to the touch than the top plate chrome as a result of spending 50 years in a leather ever-ready case. This is a really nice, competent camera ready for the next 50 years. See photos for actual cosmetic condition. The camera will come with it's leather ever-ready case.
