20x24 is a miniature camera. There was a 40x80 that Joe McNally used to photograph his Faces of Ground Zero project right after 9/11. I saw them when they traveled to Chicago and they were gobsmacking!

One of my college photo instructors had a go with one of these cameras (prior to him working at the college). I guess it would have been late 80s or early 90s. The photo he did was of several models very tightly framed. He said the biggest challenge was posing them to be very close to one another and within the very shallow plane of focus at that working distance. And I think it needed a massive amount of strobe power to light at the required f/stop.
