My local fairgrounds has a dirt track for trotters to race and train especially in the "off season". This rider and trotter were out early in the cold. I only had a 20-35mmf4 lens so I didn't expect much IQ.

I've always appreciated (i.e. under appreciated by some) the disciplined rules for the "Trotter" ... as an alternate compared to the Thoroughbred.
Thanks Kent! Yes I kept the frame long as it really shows the "dance" the horse does along the track!
There is a classic photo that hangs at Churchill Downs that has this long expanse with a single horse and an empty grandstand!
