I get the feeling the having a guide like you others here on the forum pays off big time in helping photog's find these creatures and allowing them to put their skills to work. Nothing I can imagine would be more disappointing that going on a trip and spending all that time/money for something like this and coming up dry because of not knowing where to go at the right time of day/year etc and how to do it safely and come home in one piece.

And yes that is indeed exactly my goal on the tours. Take people to places that I know and have lots of experience and help get them great shots!!
