Hard to pick just 5, but these ones stand out to me. I did a bit less photography this year, except for a few trips, swim season, and the occasional roll of film.
This first one is special also--we said goodbye to our dog, Fenton, recently. He was 13. This was taken with my son on a walk a few months prior. [/img A boy and his dog by Graham Gibson, on Flickr
One of my film images, taken on a Brooks Plaubel Veriwide 100, a 6x10 camera that uses 120 film. The camera is about 65 years old. It has a Schneider 47mm f8 lens that is similar to shooting an 18mm equivalent lens on Sony. I used to shoot a 90/8 lens on a 6x17 camera, but the Veriwide is much more portable, and is there's still enough resolution to crop even down to a similar aspect ratio. Scanned with Sony using the Sigma 70 macro. Tilden Carousel by Graham Gibson, on Flickr
Decided not to including family pictures in this; so it's a mix of different things. Still super happy with the anamorphic lens I got this year, so much fun to play with.
Very thankful this year for everyone being healthy here at home and the fact that we can enjoy our garden.
Thanks for starting this thread, Ed. It's a treat to see all the amazing shots of different variety presented by talented FMers.
I mainly shoot airshows, birds, some landscape and cityscape. I haven't really gone through my 2025 shots, too many. Here are 5 that represent my interest.
The first one is the Hellenic Air Force's F-4 Phantom. The last time I saw one flying in the US was probably in 1995. For this one I had to go all the way to an airshow in Belgium to see it.
The second one is a Blue Angels' F-18 Super Hornet making probably the biggest vapor cone I have even seen. The practice was cancelled shortly after this shot due to the rain.
The third one is the iconic street of Belgium's ancient city Ghent. I had to wait a long while to get the shot without other tourists taking their selfies.
The young bald eagle in the fourth shot was eating a small fish mid flight that she/he just snatched out of the water. Usually they would go to a tree or somewhere safe to enjoy their meal when they have bigger catch.
The fifth one is the Arlington National Cemetery at sunrise. For me, it's always a very solemn and haunting scene.
I noticed a while ago that this thread is in the Sony forum I hope it's okay that I posted pics from a NIkon. I see some Canon pics here too so I'm not too worried...

It's cross-posted on the Nikon and Sony gear forums. I am not sure why it is not posted on Canon, Fuji, Micro-4/3rds etc. However, I am sure all users can participate.
I very rarely share pictures here. I should, but somehow I don't. So, let's make an exception to that. Here are my five pictures from this year. Who knows what would be the best, but I figured I'll just post something that I've enjoyed myself during the year.

The forum posting system allows only 2 boards to be selected, but yesterday I posted a link for this in the Canon forum so they are aware and some have already started posting 👍🏼
EDIT: I have now posted the link for Fuji and M43 forum users also
