Thanks for starting this thread, Ed. It's a treat to see all the amazing shots of different variety presented by talented FMers.
I mainly shoot airshows, birds, some landscape and cityscape. I haven't really gone through my 2025 shots, too many. Here are 5 that represent my interest.
The first one is the Hellenic Air Force's F-4 Phantom. The last time I saw one flying in the US was probably in 1995. For this one I had to go all the way to an airshow in Belgium to see it.
The second one is a Blue Angels' F-18 Super Hornet making probably the biggest vapor cone I have even seen. The practice was cancelled shortly after this shot due to the rain.
The third one is the iconic street of Belgium's ancient city Ghent. I had to wait a long while to get the shot with other tourists taking their selfies.
The young bald eagle in the fourth shot was eating a small fish mid flight that she/he just snatched out of the water. Usually they would go to a tree or somewhere safe to enjoy their meal when they have bigger catch.
The fifth one is the Arlington National Cemetery at sunrise. For me, it's always a very solemn and haunting scene.
