Well done. Not to take away from your find, photographic technique and presentation, but these scenes remind me of skeletons in some ancient battlefield (blame it on just watching Ken Burns' series on the American Revolution).

Thank you — I really like that interpretation. Now that you mention it, I can’t unsee the battlefield comparison now too! Amazing how a simple fence can start to feel like history once you look at it that way.
I have these old rail fences all around me Scott! The local Civil War battlefields are littered with them and many farm properties also have them on the property.
B&W is thee only way to view them.
The texture and detail is exquisite! Snow ALWAYS adds emotion to an image!
