I did some quick digging on the guy that funded building this place, William Bourn. Same guy and same architect that built Greystone Cellars in St, Helena. He was into mining, water, and energy, what became Pacific Gas and Electric. I can almost imagine the PBS documentary by Ken Burns on this guy. Cool stuff, Jack.
