This is from a couple of years ago. At the time, I shared on the Nikon Manual Glass Forum, but not here.
We don't get much in to way of colorful fungi here - not at all like the deciduous forests of Europe or eastern US. I did find these hanging out under a Ponderosa pine. The large one is about 3 - 4" in diameter.
Nikon Df + 55mm micro f 2.8. I used f11, since I was manually focus stacking and didn't want to miss focus, so not a lot of bokeh in the background. In retrospect, I should have taken my time and opened it up more but people were waiting on me.
