Notes: I had wanted this lens for years. I finally purchased it new from B&H about the time I retired. Never got to use it much but was stunned at its sharpness and clean shallow focus. I particularly like the unique focusing mode which allows switching from automatic to manual focusing instantly by simply turning the focusing ring on the lens (no switches required!).
Nicest portrait lens I've ever owned in my 60 years as a pro photographer. I've been selling all my gear with this as the very last one to go. If i thought I'd ever use it again, I definitely would not be offering it here.

It was always gently cared for, away from dirt, fumes, and dings. Additionally I'm a non-smoker. I'm certain whoever ends up with this lens will be thrilled.
having retired from doing photography for a living, i sold my d800 and d610 (and others). i found i missed shooting, so i just purchased a Df from a nice member here which gives me the perfect excuse to keep this beautiful tele. WITHDRAWN! :-)
