A few quick hits from my trip in November to Kenya. These photos are from Amboseli, Ol Pejeta, and the Maasai Mara conservancies on my yearly workshop. Overall we, had great light and very clear weather conditions and exceptional viewing opportunities. There was wind and overall drought was setting in the Mara and Amboseli making for quite dusty conditions.
Everything was shot on the Sony Alpha A1ii bodies with with the 50-150/f2, 300/2.8 GM or 600mm GM.
Amazing set. We have a trip to Kenya in February 27. I am looking forward to photographing Craig. I didn't think I had much of a shot at Jaguars but what a bonus that would be. Thanks for the inspirational post.
Very special share, thank you! Especially the frontal portrait of the grown cheetah is highly personal - as is the frontal portrait of the cub - kudos - bravo!

I think you mean leopards! Good luck with Craig. He was being treated for something by KWS/Big Life Foundation while we were there and never had a chance to visit.

I think you mean the leopard. I saw a couple of cheetah while we were there this year but no where near the numbers in years past. The population of cheetah in the mara keeps declining.

Well that was embarrassing. Yes I believe you're right I meant leopards. No worries I've definitely have said dumber things lol.
