Feeding station about 45-50 KM from Mindo. The tour guides were trying to hype this place up and wanted to charge me allot of money. I hired an independent driver and just showed up.
10 dollars and the guy that runs it was really fantastic. Most all of these birds you see from South America at this point I would say are at sit down feeding stations. And some of them are nothing short of amazing.
Depends on how elaborate you want to get photographing the birds, And the gear you want to take.
Really that is it. And dirt cheap.

The locals are cashing in on the birding here. A great time to come here and enjoy the birding, and support the local people.
Doesn't get much better than this IMHO if a birder.
