If this is true what are the last promised 8 RF lenses do you want to see by this time next year?
I did a bit of digging and these are the EF L lenses that were still available off the shelf when RF system was announced in 2018.
- 1993 EF 400mm f/5.6L USM
- 1996 EF 200mm f/2.8L II USM
- 1996 EF 180mm f/3.5L Macro USM
- 1997 EF 300mm f/4L IS USM
- 1999 EF 70200mm f/4L USM
- 2004 EF 28300mm f/3.55.6L IS USM
- 2007 EF 14mm f/2.8L II USM
- 2008 EF 200mm f/2L IS USM
- 2010 EF 70300mm f/45.6L IS USM
- 2011 EF 815mm f/4L Fisheye USM
- 2011 EF 500mm f/4L IS II USM
- 2013 EF 200400mm f/4L IS USM Extender 1.4x
- 2014 EF 100400mm f/4.55.6L IS II USM
- 2014 EF 400mm f/4 DO IS II USM
- 2018 EF 70200mm f/4L IS II USM
Personally I'd want to see a faster RF 200mm f/1.8L USM to outdo the 200mm f/2.0 from FujFilm, Sigma & Laowa like what Canon did with the RF 135mm f/1.8L USM response to Sigma, Sony, Viltrox, Samyang, etc
I think tilt shift lowest priority due to low volume & they're ideal candidates for the EF to RF lens adapters.

Tbh
All I want is small fast primes for RF-S
Say
EF-m 22/2 converted to rf-s
EF-m 32/1.4 converted to rf-s
And then offer a small telephoto 75mm or 120mm ??

The current TS-E lenses dont write the shift or tilt values into EXIF, and never can since they lack the position sensors to know what they are. This is a huge nuisance, since you have to manually record the values and later type them into your postprocessing software.
Although Capture One doesnt have a profile for the TS-E 24mm f/3.5 II, assuming no tilt, once you have the correct shift value, its easy to adjust the falloff correction slider manually, because it offsets the centre of the lens correctly. (This is much easier than the way I used to do it in Photoshop: expand the canvas, apply the correction, then contract the canvas again; maybe modern Lightroom has support for shift values.) Capture One was spun off from Phase One, and with the lenses for that system its fully automatic because the lenses write the values into EXIF. I believe Fujis medium format shift lenses also do.
So they do need updating, but its possible most of the potential buyers of them have already abandoned Canon for the medium format systems where this is much more convenient, and they get medium format quality as well. We may never see tilt-shift lenses in RF mount.

Back when the 28-70 f:2L was launched, there had been rumors of a 70-135 f:2L, it would be a very nice portrait lens replacing multiple primes.
Some more ambition around the "standard walk around lens", such as 20-105, 24-135 or, dare I ask, 20-135.
A motorized zoom, with either an integrated motor or an add-on, at a lesser price point than the RF 24-105 V combo, so similar to the PZ-E1 Power Zoom add-on to the EF-S 18-135mm f:3.5-5.6 IS

We need more teles like the bogus 150-600/5.6 mentioned heavily on that scam site.
A new 600/4 with a 1.4x TC is overdue and would probably be along with a 400/2.8.
I've given up hope on the TSEs or tele macros.

RF (50)70-135(150) f2 L (the lightest possible in this range for portrait)
RF 24-105 f4 L II (real L IQ, internal zoom)
RF 300-600 f5.6 L (internal zoom)
RF-S 22 f2

Small, light, slower aperture but weather resistant primes. A 50 2.5, 40 2.8, 28 2.8, etc. High optical + build quality, trading max aperture for portability and durability.

They need a 70-200 ish 2.8 STM to match their outstanding 16-28 & 28-70 STM lenses. I would also really like an updated RF 24-70 2.8L. This lens is incredible but it is big and heavy. It needs a smaller MKII update like they did with original EF version.

150-600 f5.6 L internal zoom. They made one for the FD mount. 3rd party manufacturers make it why can't canon. 300-600 is 2x zoom. Why not 4x as they did in the 1980's and still do with 100-400. Add a 1.4 flip in multiplier and I'd be willing to fork out the ridiculous price they'll want. Replacement for 200 f4 FD macro or 180 EF macro but f4 fast enough to keep weight down. At least a 600mm f4L with flip in 1.4x. Copy the other guys design if they can't figure it out themselves. If you can tell, I'm frustrated with canon.

It was a "possible" back when the RF 28-70L was launched, a 70-135 f:2.0 L, which never saw the light of day. Would replace multiple primes, just like the 28-70.
A more ambitious "standard" f:4.0 L zoom (the 24-105 was launched in 2007 or thereabouts):
20-105 or
24-135 or
20-135
While the RF 24-105 f:2.8 IS V is fantastic (@ $3,300), and complimented by a motorization of the zoom for a paltry $1,200 extra, a more budget-oriented re-make of the EF-S 18-135 f:3.5-5.6 IS STM with it's motor accessory PZ-E1 would be a nice addition.

I'm pretty happy with the three RF f4 L zooms, the 100-500, 100-400, and 1:2 macro primes for my R5. What I'd really like are RF replacements for the EF-S 1:1 35 and 60 f2.8 primes: Won't have to mess with adapters or the extra 4 oz. And add IS to the 60 prime but not increase its size or weight. I'm considering getting a black friday R7 so my wife and I each have one. I like the two Sigma f2.8 zooms on the R7 and hope Sigma will make more to consider.
