If this is true what are the last promised 8 RF lenses do you want to see by this time next year?
I did a bit of digging and these are the EF L lenses that were still available off the shelf when RF system was announced in 2018.
- 1989 – EF 200mm f/2.8L USM
- 1992 – EF 500mm f/4L USM
- 1993 – EF 400mm f/5.6L USM
- 1996 – EF 200mm f/2.8L II USM
- 1996 – EF 180mm f/3.5L Macro USM
- 1997 – EF 300mm f/4L IS USM
- 1999 – EF 70–200mm f/4L USM
- 2004 – EF 28–300mm f/3.5–5.6L IS USM
- 2007 – EF 14mm f/2.8L II USM
- 2008 – EF 200mm f/2L IS USM
- 2010 – EF 70–300mm f/4–5.6L IS USM
- 2011 – EF 8–15mm f/4L Fisheye USM
- 2011 – EF 500mm f/4L IS II USM
- 2013 – EF 200–400mm f/4L IS USM Extender 1.4x
- 2014 – EF 100–400mm f/4.5–5.6L IS II USM
- 2014 – EF 400mm f/4 DO IS II USM
- 2018 – EF 70–200mm f/4L IS II USM
Personally I'd want to see a faster RF 200mm f/1.8L USM to outdo the 200mm f/2.0 from FujFilm, Sigma & Laowa like what they did with the RF 135mm f/1.8L USM to respond to Sigma, Sony, Viltrox, Samigon, Samyang, etc
I think tilt shift lowest priority due to low volume & they're ideal candidates for the EF to RF lens adapters.
