I have not seen any videos or photo guides since the M11 came out. With the M9, M240 and M10 it is super easy, just two screws and the top comes off. The M11 looks different. The bottom plate probably has to come off first, but I have never tried it. There is the screw inside the battery compartment like you mentioned, but there has to be another one on the opposite side.
Do you want to remove to clean the viewfinder (remove dust)?
Thanks for the reply. I'm having an issue with the viewfinder digital display and was hoping it's just a loose connection. On previous models, that display connection is accessible when you remove the top plate.

Looking at my M11, you may need to remove the bottom sticker with the certifications, and there may be a screw under it. After you remove the screw inside the battery compartment and take out the battery latch with a spanner, the bottom plate should come off. Once the bottom plate is off, you should see something similar to the M10. That means there is another screw on the opposite side of the battery, close to the edge. If you can remove the screw inside the battery compartment and the one hidden on the far edge, the top should come off.
